Nice! Thanks, Rick Dees, and the AWT40 team!!! I hoped that Selena Gomez' "Come & Get It" would at least make it in the chart of 2013' Best (at least in the 30's), but 19 is amazing! Tho I still believe it deserved more recognition thru out 2013. But thanks again!

Wish people would give a longer list than just these two. I will not buy from any company (and the network is a company) that supports sharing that hate is acceptable. Jim Crow was not a happier time for people. People tend to ignore the fact that it could refuse to feed people just because they didn't like the color of their skin despite said people's ability to pay for that food. People were beaten in the streets and it was acceptable because they weren't of the "superior" class.

I am upset enough over the homosexual comments, but to say Jim Crow was better is beyond ignorant. For any company to try to say that isn't their opinion, but we support him is double talk. "We support his comments" puts them backing those comments. It does make them align themselves with those views.

Glad to see that some people understand the right to express your personal opinion. I don't share Phil Robertson's views either but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the right to speak them. He wasn't being hateful or inciting violence against anyone. I wish all Christians were like Phil. It's the ones who preach hate that give Christians a bad rep.

Man! I posted a reply to "Steven" but I don't see it anywhere. What the...? Just bec I say what is vs not telling the truth doesn't mean u should not enter my opinions here. I didn't use vulgarity nor obscene matter. Even so, I will never understand why Selena Gomez' "Come & It It", the ONLY world-sound-song HIT this year, didn't make it into this chart's Top 10 (HAC or HAE) of Ricks Weekly Top 40 show. And it's a good song, too.

I agree 100%. Selena Gomez' "Come & Get It" is unique AND good. I am a bit confused as to how they choose who makes it higher in this chart. They allow Electro/Dance-club music (Safe & Sound, Wake Me Up, Clarity, and more) hight up there, but not a "wolrd-beat" song as u said. I have recently looked up many of Selena Gomez' songs, and am shocked her "Who Says" and "Fallin' Down" and "A Year Without Rain" didn't climb higher (nor enter at all) here. Yet, Miley Cyrus gets a basic pop song out and Rick puts it in his top 10. I know for sure these guys dont chart songs based on sales (maybe a bit but not overall). I dont know, man. Selena Gomez deserves more than what's being dealt to her. Come & get It should have been a Top 10 here.
